So I just wanted to upload this to my scrapbook real quick so that those that are interested can see that I am actually TRYING to make art happen again xD
1: Character sketches I started on the day I wrote my newest journal entry, where I pretty much was just trying to find myself again. The amount of erasing I am doing is insane here. I forgot how to do everything, and I mostly forgot my style. Things I was kind of proud of though were my take on the fabric ruffles. I even forgot how I drew eyes -_-; It's a mess
2: I sat down and actually tried to remember how to do poses with my tried and true "wire frame" method as I call it in my head. I had some success, but even though it was a lot better than day 1, It didn't feel like it was actually my style.
3: I hashed out some stylistic things today, looking through old deviations for starting points for how I did the little things, like eyes, nose and mouth. But I also decided today that I kind of want to morph my style into something newer as well -- something a little more maleable. So I think I got the gist on how I want to structure faces, and I think I made a lot of progress as far as subtle perspective issues go, as in "how can I make someone stand without looking pigeon-toed." TONS of erasing to the point that she looks like she has a weird 5 o'clock shadow, but I actually feel like I've reached a point where I can kind of jump off from here and do some more finished work
